Spring Flowers!

May is a great time for a road trip.

Was the gaillardia growing wild? I've only ever seen it grown in cultivated gardens. I guess I should have known it was a wildflower, but somehow it still surprised me.

Yes, these were all wild.
I didn't know gaillardia was a domesticated flower, too!
