This particular Bernini angel reminds me of my nephew Bean.
This is funny, because I never noticed a resemblance before.
The angel is quite famous.
He is prominent in the composition of the Cornaro chapel-
the famous St. Teresa in ecstasy-
about to penetrate the saint with his fiery arrow.

Bean wasn't exactly wild about the comparison. But I see the resemblance! Except that he just got his hair cut. He cried for an hour after we cut off his hair but now that he sees that it makes him look less like a Bernini angel I think he feels a lot better. :)
Hmph. I should think anyone would LOVE to look like a Bernini angel!!
